In and around Apollo Bay

Today I will investigate all the interesting things to see and do in and around Apollo Bay. Since the high season is over, it’s relatively quite here. A lot of attractions are closed. However, there’s one thing that never closes: the beach. So I started the day with a short walk along the ocean. It’s a great way to wake up.

After my short walk, I got into the car and drove west. The first attraction along the way is the Cape Otway lighthouse. After that stop it was on to the Otway Fly, a tree top walk. I did something similar before (just browse back in my posts and you will find something similar), but this walk is much nicer.

Then I headed back to Apollo Bay. But before ending up in my motel, I had to go up to the Marriners Lookout. I passed it yesterday, but it was too late to get up there. From here you have a great view on Apollo Bay.

After taking a lot of pictures (most I did not upload, since they were not good enough…), I headed to the Apollo Bay marina. It was the end of the day and the fisher came back to the marina to get their boats out of the water and to prepare dinner (well, at least those that caught something).

As you can see, I have not added any pictures to this post. It just takes too much time. But they are available here: Exploring Apollo Bay.
